Candles

The use of candles in the home is increasing in popularity. Candles are safe when used responsibly and according to the manufacturer's instructions. Most candle fires are caused by not following basic fire-safety precautions. Sometimes the risk of a potential fire is from the candle holder.

Candles may also contain materials that pose health hazards, especially for children. There are precautions you can take to reduce health and safety hazards when you burn candles in your home.
